સુરતી લેઉવા પાટીદાર સમાજના ગૌરવશાળી છત્ર નીચે, એની સફળ અને સાર્થક કાર્યક્રમોની ઉજ્જવળ પરંપરામાં ઉમેરો કરતો એક મજાનો કાર્યક્રમ લઈને અમે આવી રહ્યા છીએ.

આપણા મહેમાન બનશે ડો રઈશ મનીઆર જેઓ પણ પોતે વાપીથી તાપીના નિવાસી છે. કિલ્લા પારડી એમનું જન્મસ્થળ અને સુરત એમની કર્મભૂમિ.  તેઓ આપણા જાણીતા હાસ્યકાર, મજાના કવિ અને સફળ વક્તા છે.  અત્યારે તેઓ તેમની "જલ્પાડી સાથે રિયુનિયન" "મીત અને ઈંડુ" તથા "વિવાહ કે વિવાદ" જેવી હાસ્યકથાઓથી ખૂબ વિખ્યાત થયા છે.  એક મજાના હાસ્યકાર હોવા ઉપરાંત તેઓ શાયર અને મનોવૈજ્ઞાનિક ડોક્ટર હોવાથી રસભરી શૈલીમાં જીવન ઉપયોગી વાતો પણ કરે છે.  એમની મોટીવેશનની વાતો પણ ખૂબ સરળ અને સહજ હોય છે. અને આ બધું તેઓ ખૂબ હળવાશથી હાસ્યસભર રીતે કરે છે. અમેરિકામાં તેઓ 200થી વધુ શો કરી ચૂક્યા છે. 

ડોક્ટર રઈશ મનીઆરના 25 પુસ્તકો પ્રકાશિત થઈ ચૂક્યા છે એમને ગુજરાતી સાહિત્યના બે સૌથી મોટા એવોર્ડ નર્મદ એવોર્ડ અને કલાપી એવોર્ડ મળી ચૂક્યા છે. ચિત્રલેખાના 51 ગૌરવશાળી ગુજરાતીઓ એમનો સમાવેશ થઈ ચૂક્યો છે ગુજરાતી ફિલ્મોમાં એમણે 60થી વધુ ગીતો લખ્યા છે એક બેકગ્રાઉન્ડ ગીત એમણે સંજય લીલા ભણસાલીની રામલીલા હિન્દી ફિલ્મમાં લખ્યું છે.  એમના એક પુસ્તકનું વિમોચન અમિતાભ બચ્ચને કર્યું હતું.

આવી પ્રતિભા ધરાવનાર ડોક્ટર રઈશ મનીઆર 5 જૂન શુક્રવારે આપણા મહેમાન થશે. એમને મળવાનો અને સાંભળવાનો લહાવો ચૂકવા જેવો નથી.

Our guest will be Dr. Raeesh Maniar, who is also a resident of Vapi to Tapi. Killa Pardi is his birthplace and Surat is his workplace. He is our well-known comedian, funny poet and successful speaker. Currently, he has become very famous for his funny stories like "Jalpadi Sathe Reunion", "Meat and Egg" and "Vivah Ke Vivad". Apart from being a funny comedian, he is also a poet and a psychological doctor, so he also talks about life in an interesting style. His motivational talks are also very simple and easy; and he does all this in a very light and humorous way. He has done more than 200 shows in America.

Dr. Raeesh Maniar has published 25 books and has received two of the biggest awards in Gujarati literature, the Narmad Award and the Kalapi Award. He is among the 51 proud Gujaratis of Chitralekha. He has written more than 60 songs in Gujarati films and has written a background song in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hindi film Ramleela. One of his books was released by Amitabh Bachchan.
